[McBryde’s Epistolae is the earliest published work associated with the celebrated ghost story writer M.R. James who in 1899 was resident as a Don at King’s College, Cambridge. Copac records one example, held at the Bodleian. Another was sold by Dominic Winter in 2016. This example has been in the vendor’s possession for 40 years.]
