The Seconde Tome of Homelyes of such matters as were promised and Intituted in the former part of Homelyes, set out by the aucthoritie of the Quenes Maiestie: and to be read in every paryshe Churche agreablye 1563. Printed by Richard Jugge and John Cawood, St. Paul’s Churchyard, London (colophon). First Edition, first issue. Octavo, later full polished leather, slightly pitted, rebacked, gilt, with new endpapers; original blanks at front & rear covered in contemporary manuscript notes which extend to margins of colophon and final page of text; damp-staining affects blanks and the margins of the last pages of text; fol.81 and 235 each with a corner torn away resulting in the loss of a few words of text which is otherwise intact; fol.214 heavily damp-stained with slight loss to parts of the border. Few pages with marginal glosses.
