19th Century portrait Photographs of American origin, mostly of Black people, comprising snapshot size (17, mainly on metal ‘Tintypes'), one carte-de-visite, and 14 cabinet photos. The cabinet photos indicate that many of these originate from Bowling Green and Louisiana in the State of Missouri. Mixed quality. A rare group. (32). Also a 1920s PC size photo of an elderly black woman of Missouri origin.
