Peckham, confirming that the book has been signed by Sir Winston for Mr Peckham's son, the letter laid down on front pastedown. Front endpaper bears the ownership signature of Edward Paul Peckham, the rear pastedown with a compliments slip from Churchill's private secretary. The first 64 pages of the book show staining at foot.
