Tolkien The Lord of the Rings, George Allen & Unwin, 1957, the three volume set, in gilt cloth bindings, complete with price-clipped d/jackets, Fellowship of the Ring the seventh impression in eighth impression d/jacket, The Two Towers fifth impression in fifth impression d/jacket, The Return of the King fourth impression in fifth impression d/jacket. The jackets show some minor peripheral wear but are o/w in very good condition. The maps are intact, the map of Fellowship of the Ring detached and strengthened along the folds with cloth strips. Very clean internally, no inscriptions. A very good set. (3)
