James Jennings Ornithologia, or The Birds; a Poem, in two Parts; with an Introduction to their Natural History; and copious notes. Poole & Edwards, 1828 First Edition; nineteenth century cloth, gilt, backstrip a little faded o/w VG; bookplate removed from front pastedown; engraved frontispiece, and a further frontispiece to Part Two on Foreign Birds; each part with its own pictorial half-title, the foot of the half-title to Part One repaired. A small library stamp of the Islington Literary & Scientific Society in the margin of two pages in the text o/w fine internally; pp.xxix,(3),468,6.
