Pratt, Liverpool, 1841, First European Edition, in a contemporary grained morocco binding with gilt ruling, a.e.g., gilt title & decorated compartments to backstrip, a little rubbed at extremities o/w fine; a couple of small fox marks to title page o/w fine internally, and free of inscriptions; the first European (and UK) edition of The Book of Mormon extremely scarce.

Fine Bindings by Bumpus of London in full leather comprising Rabindranath Tagore Gitanjali, 1916, and Daily Light on the Daily Path, S. Bagster c.1920; the former in an exquisite blind-tooled & gilt design to front & back covers, backstrip with gilt titles and decorated compartments, a.e.g., showing just a hint of wear, endpapers with browning to perimeter; the latter in grained morocco, gilt ruling and title, a.e.g, some fading and small imperfections, the text with the occasional minor tone mark.
