M. Gordon Journal from Liverpool to Archangel, and thence to Petrosovodsky, St. Petersburg, Copenhagen and Hamburg and back, Summer 1827A typescript on 82 foolscap sheets, single sided, front cover detached. Well written, with much attention to detail, this journal does not appear to have been previously published. On arrival at Archangel the journey to Petrosovodsky and St. Petersburg was conducted overland on horseback or on foot.
