The Trial of Elizabeth Duchess Dowager of Kingston, For Bigamy. Before The Right Honourable The House of Peers, in Westminster Hall, in Full Parliament, on Monday the 15th, Tuesday the  16th , Friday the 19th, Saturday the 20th and Monday the 22nd of April, 1776; On The Last of Which Days the said Elizabeth Duchess Dowager of Kingston Was Found Guilty. Charles Bathurst, London, 1776; bound with Proceedings in the House of Peers upon the Impeachment….against Simon Lord Lovat, S.Billingsley, 1747; folio, half-leather, worn, hinges weak; bookplate of Sir John Mordaunt; clean text, uncut.  [The trial of the Duchess of Kingston (born Elizabeth Chudleigh in 1721) for the crime of bigamy was one of the sensations of the Georgian Age. Small hole towards foot of title page has removed “Vol.2”. [A similar work was issued in 1715 but each volume is complete in itself]
