MORE DETAILSSouvenir of the Eagle's Nest, c.1948, string-bound album, 6 x 8.5”, with 20 mounted photographs, descriptive captions in manuscript, including the SS barracks and Hitler's house, two showing bomb damage to adjacent buildings. [These were produced for tourists individually and vary in content. Few have survived. The captions suggest that Hitler's house was itself damaged by RAF bombing but this is incorrect.]
