Isle of Man WW2 Internment Camp correspondence in two files & loose, mostly between Mr & Mrs Schmitz while confined in ‘O’ and ‘W’ Camps respectively, and mostly written on POW Letter Sheets. Many carry mixed quality Camp or Post Office Headquarters dated cachets including ONCHAN INTERNMENT CAMP / CAMP POST OFFICE (12) and three Post Cards with WOMEN’S / INTERNMENT CAMP, / ISLE OF MAN (3). The pair were eventually reunited in ‘Y’ camp to which are addressed a few censored covers from Germany. Also three files of related family correspondence both before & after the War largely in German. (100s)
