Survivors of Ambulance Ship S.S. Donegal 23rd April, 1917. Real Photo. Some wear at corners o/w VG. (S.S. Donegal was a Midland Railway passenger ferry that served in the First World War as an Ambulance Ship, sunk by enemy action on the 17th April 1917. Two of the crew were survivors of the Titanic, of whom one lost his life in the sinking of the Donegal)
