Provenance: first sold by us (as Acorn Auctions) in April 1993, alongside a group of letters written by Lowry to the mother of the then vendor. The letters were sold separately to Salford City Art Gallery, the drawing to a private buyer who, in 2010, gifted it to the current vendor. Condition is fine.
